Forget 'Back to the Future,' This Dark Drama Features Michael J. Fox's Very Best Performance




Michael J. Fox is one of those actors who has always been consistently great, regardless of the role he's playing. Even if the movie he's in isn't wholly successful, you can still count on him to be one of the best parts of it. Whether he's playing it cool and self-assured, like Marty McFly in Back to the Future, or a nerd who has to step up, like Milo in Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Fox always fits the role perfectly, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who'd be disappointed to hear he's in a movie. That being said, one of his best performances that doesn't get brought up enough took place in between Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II. While Robert Zemeckis and Christopher Lloyd were off making Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Fox was doing some heavy drama in Bright Lights, Big City.
