Created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, Blue Bloods ran for 14 seasons and 293 episodes on CBS from September 24, 2010, to December 13, 2024. The series followed the fictional Reagan family, an Irish-American Catholic family in New York City with a long history in New York law enforcement. Family head Frank Reagan, portrayed throughout the series by the legendary Tom Selleck, served as NYPD Police Commissioner, a position previously held by his father, Henry Reagan.
