There is nothing worse than a critically acclaimed franchise stopping too soon, and unfortunately for video games, it's all too common. Some series, like Grand Theft Auto, take over a decade between new games, and other franchises, such as Kid Icarus, seem unlikely to get a new entry. However, one video game franchise in particular has been in development hell for years. After dropping one of the greatest video game trilogies of all time, BioShock switched from Irrational Studios to Cloud Chamber. The original creator, Ken Levine, is working on his first new game since his original creation in Judas, which looks like BioShock in space with its own flair and style. While even that seems to be taking a while, the wait for BioShock 4 is even longer. Every year, fans hope to hear something new, and while it looks like they will have to wait even longer, they can find solace in the fact that Cloud Chamber is taking its time to deliver the best product.
