Ridley Scott's 10/10 Sci-Fi Masterpiece Is the Perfect Weekend Binge Before Season 2




For the first time in nearly 10 years, Ridley Scott fans will venture to theaters to see a sci-fi movie from the Alien and Blade Runner director, who has been steering more towards historical epics and crime thrillers in recent years. Scott's last big movie came back at the end of 2024 with Gladiator II, the legacy sequel to his Oscar-winning film starring Russell Crowe. After being left out of the film entirely, Crowe recently went public with a damning review of Gladiator II, saying that it's an example of creatives not knowing what made the first film so special. Scott's next movie, The Dog Stars, is coming to theaters this August after being delayed from its original March spot. The film features a trio of major stars, including Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, and even Margaret Qualley.
