Netflix's 'Enola Holmes 3' Is a Mostly Forgettable Mystery Adventure | Review

The Enola Holmes series has been one of Netflix's most pleasant franchises, largely because the first movie came out during the pandemic and earned enough goodwill from audiences and critics. It was also a rather strong movie with a charming leading turn from star Millie Bobby Brown, Netflix's undisputed queen. The sequel, which came out in 2022, was also a hit, building on its predecessor's strengths and expanding Enola's characterization. The third movie, which comes out on July 1, over three years after Enola Holmes 2, is not as strong, nor as funny or charming, much less clever, than either of its predecessors, but it's good enough to spend a Friday afternoon at home.
