Marvel Is Officially Bringing Back The Punisher's Biggest Rivalry




As forces of good in New York City, Spider-Man and The Punisher naturally share some of the same foes. Both have previously squared off against criminals like Tombstone, while the Jackal helped facilitate their first encounter in the comics after hiring Frank Castle to take out the web-head. The Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, has also antagonized just about every vigilante operating in the streets of the Big Apple at some point, including the duo and their mutual ally Matt Murdock. The MCU even gave fans a chance to see the two working together and patrolling the same ground in the recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day, pitting them against a possessed Savage Hulk and Sadie Sink's Jean Grey.
