After acquiring the iconic spy franchise for an eye-watering $1 billion, Amazon's James Bond era is beginning to take shape. Although we are still far from seeing a new 007 mission take to the big screen, the hunt for the new Bond is officially underway, with casting director Nina Gold previously confirming that Amazon is looking for a young actor who "oozes sex appeal" to take on the role. Whoever they are — with Callum Turner the current favorite – they will be in safe hands, under the directorial eye of the great Denis Villeneuveand with a script from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.
