20 Years Later, 'Avatar: The Last Airbender's Best Line Is Still the Greatest Quote in Animation History

Twenty years after Avatar: The Last Airbender first premiered, fans are still debating the show's best episode, its strongest redemption arc, and whether it qualifies as anime. What isn't up for much debate anymore is the series' greatest line. Despite multiple attempts to recreate the magic of the original — including Netflix's recent live-action adaptation — nothing has managed to surpass the original series, let alone the moment Uncle Iroh looked at Prince Zuko and asked two deceptively simple questions: "It's time for you to look inward and ask yourself the big questions: Who are you? And what do you want?"
