Crowe had been involved with the World War II courtroom drama for years, so passionately that director James Vanderbilt has even said that, without his dedication, the film would have never made it to theaters. Nuremberg didn't smash any records at the box office, but the film still did quite well, grossing just over $70 million during its global run. Nuremberg was later added to Netflix, where it quickly became one of the top 10 most-watched movies at the time. Crowe has also been hard at work with Henry Cavill and Dave Bautista filming the Highlander reboot, which is likely coming to theaters in 2027.
