Let's be honest, very few blockbuster films have inspired as many arguments as Prometheus. Even now, people can't seem to agree on whether it's an underrated science-fiction masterpiece or a total missed opportunity. Maybe it's both? One minute it's exploring humanity's origins and the meaning of creation, the next somebody is trying to pet what is very obviously an angry alien snake. Some of us just wanted xenomorphs.
