Marvel Is Officially Bringing Back Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man in 2028




Robert Downey Jr. is officially returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year. We knew this. The actor who launched the MCU as Tony Stark in 2008's Iron Man is currently preparing to terrorize Earth's Mightiest Heroes as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. We're very excited about that, but at D23, we got news that we weren't expecting, because in 2028, we're getting Tony Stark back at long last.
