'CSI' Meets 'Justified' in This Forgotten Western Drama No One Remembers Today




Most television westerns are built around the same familiar ingredients: gunslingers, sheriffs, cattle rustlers, outlaws roaming dusty frontiers... not much room in town for, say, forensic scientists. But that's exactly what the USA Network tried to build a show around back in 2003: Instead of focusing solely on the same old six-shooters and horseback chases, Peacemakers incorporated the burgeoning field of forensic science into the tried and true western formula.
