Anya Taylor-Joy continues to prove herself one of the most bankable stars in the world on both the big and small screen with more of her new projects taking the world by storm. After starring in The Gorge for Apple TV last year, Taylor-Joy returned to the platform for the new crime thriller show, Lucky, which recently wrapped up its first season. She also starred in the first $1 billion movie of the year with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the sequel to the 2023 video game movie that also took home a heaping haul at the box office. Taylor-Joy has even been tapped to star as an Elf named Seren in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, the new Tolkien title coming to theaters on December 17, 2027. Andy Serkis is starring in and directing the feature, with Peter Jackson working on the script and directing.
