Tim Burton's Biggest Blockbuster in 15 Years Is Officially Haunting Prime Video

It took Tim Burton 15 whole years to get back to his winning ways, and the entire time he was trying to expand his creative horizons, the audience only wanted him to get back to what he knows best. They weren't interested in watching his take on Dumbo, nor were they particularly excited for his version of a YA movie. The message was loud and clear when Burton put his creative stamp on Netflix's Wednesday, which has since emerged as the streamer's most-watched English-language series. The show has aired two seasons since premiering in 2022. Working on it brought Burton back on track, and introduced him to the talents of Jenna Ortega, whom he hired as the lead in his next feature film.
