'Supergirl' Smashes Into Action With Colorful 4DX Poster Before June 26 Release [Exclusive]




It took a little bit of time following his takeover back in 2022, but James Gunn's DCU is finally beginning to take shape after a few new projects hit the big and small screen last year. The first official DCU project was Creature Commandos, the animated series that debuted at the end of 2024 on HBO Max. Looking back now, though, it's easy to see that Creature Commandos was more of an appetizer for what was to come in the DCU — Superman was the main course, and Peacemaker Season 2 was the desert; needless to say DC fans were left stuffed at the end of 2025. 2026 has been an ominously quiet year for DC so far, but that's all about to change soon when Supergirl (starring Milly Alcock) helps officially kick off the blockbuster season.
