23-Year-Old Bestselling Fantasy Series Is Officially Coming to Disney+




Disney has had a big year so far with a few new releases from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially the highly anticipated second season of Daredevil: Born Again. Season 2 of the Charlie Cox-led series led directly into the Punisher special, One Last Kill, starring Jon Bernthal, which has spent over a month at the top of Disney Plus streaming charts. Disney has officially begun pushing Marvel's next big animated series, X-Men '97, which will now premiere on July 1 after being pushed back a few weeks — it was previously announced to premiere in June. The show has already been picked up for Season 3, also, which is coming in 2027. In addition to the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Disney has just grabbed the rights to another popular YA adaptation expected sometime in 2028.
