David Fincher's 10/10 Crime Thriller Is Quietly Taking Over HBO Max

Movie and TV fans could argue endlessly about how harmful the rise of serial killer content has been in recent years, but casting the moral debate aside, it's undeniable that it's now one of the most popular genres in the world. Writer and producer Ryan Murphy has come under fire lately for his humanizing portrayal of these twisted individuals in shows like Monster, which still defied the surrounding controversy to become one of the most-watched Netflix shows of all time. Long before social media, legendary filmmaker David Fincher worked with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman on the 1995 serial killer thriller, Se7en, which is currently streaming on Tubi. 12 years later, Fincher returned to the serial killer thriller genre for a new film featuring one of the most infamous criminals to this day, and one who has still never been caught.
