The Taylor Sheridan-written and produced series has aired two full seasons in only two years, but after filming on Season 3 was pushed back to August, it has since been confirmed that it will not premiere until sometime in 2027. Thornton may be known around town these days as Tommy Norris from Landman, but he's also an Oscar-winner for his work as a writer on Sling Blade, the 1996 drama that also earned him an acting nod. Thornton also recently had a key role in The Gray Man (co-starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling), which is one of the top 10 most-watched Netflix movies of all time.
