Peacock Will Officially Be Free in 2027




In the last few years, Peacock has quietly become one of the most popular streaming services in the world. Not only is it home to all of NBC's biggest network TV shows, but it's also the primary streaming outlet for Taylor Sheridan's most successful show of all time, Yellowstone. Sheridan's other series stream on Paramount Plus, but once he leaves Paramount for NBCUniversal at the end of 2028, all of his new projects will stream on Peacock. The streamer has already released some of the most binge-able shows of the year, including most recently dropping all episodes of Five-Star Weekend, the drama headlined by Jennifer Garner and Gemma Chan. As it continues to get more expensive to have access to all the biggest streaming services, Peacock has once again found a way to lower the price.
