After all, this is a series in which street racing has evolved into globe-trotting espionage, cars have gone to space, and seemingly dead characters have returned like nothing happened. And Christopher Nolan adores it, too. But there's one thing that can't be avoided, and that's the sheer cost of putting these movies together.
