The massive critical and commercial success of Christopher Nolan's new movie, The Odyssey, made audiences realize that the filmmaker had essentially been building up to the movie over the course of his career. Several of his past films borrowed themes and narrative elements from Homer's epics, with Inceptionand Oppenheimerbeing right up there. However, a third Nolan movie that also followed a guilt-ridden protagonist trying to get home to his family after going away on a dangerous, decades-long mission is on its way to Prime Video.
