James Gunn's Superman may have been a hit with audiences but, you know what superhero fans are like, they'll always find something they're not quite thrilled about. In the case of this movie, it was the suit worn by David Corenswetas the titular hero in the movie. While the return of the iconic red trunks/underpants (depending on your point of view) sparked endless debate online, Gunn always maintained there was a clear creative reason behind the design. But now, Supes is getting a new look for the first DCU sequel.
