Netflix Fans Officially Leave the Streamer's 'Yellowstone' Rival in the Dust




The streaming arms race for the new Yellowstone doesn't seem to have yielded a new winner. Following the success of Taylor Sheridan's magnum opus oat opera, several platforms that passed on it put their might into finding a replacement. Meanwhile, Sheridan's profile grew, and with it, Paramount+ emerged as a viable challenger to bigger streaming platforms. Despite earnest attempts, Netflix still doesn't have an alternative for the same demographic that enjoys Yellowstone and its many spin-offs. Over the years, Netflix has released Westerns such as American Primeval and the more recent Little House on the Prairie, but its biggest Yellowstone alternative is plateauing on the streaming charts.
