The movie was hit by a major setback ahead of its debut, when it was accidentally uploaded on Prime Video for a few hours, and then disseminated on illegal file-sharing sites by online pirates. This didn't appear to dent the film's box-office performance much, given how Statham's other 2026 release, Shelter, performed in its theatrical run this past January. Shelter made around $14 million domestically, against a reported budget of $50 million, falling drastically short of both A Working Man and The Beekeeper.
